My mom used to tell me when I first got into this business that you don’t learn much from the easy real estate transactions, be grateful for the challenging ones. Boy was she right! This particular deal tested me over and over again…from a lender who over promised and under delivered and eventually ghosted us. To a very tight timeline with the Sellers being in escrow on a new build, and astronomically high per diem rates for every day they went beyond their original close of escrow date. To an 11th hour SoCal storm moving in and a last minute condition of the loan m, being that the home was now in what was deemed a disaster zone. 😱The punches did not stop 🥊!
I learned a lot about my level of resiliency and tenacity on this one. It was also reinforced that I have the right squad in my corner of the ring. To my girl for coming in to save this deal and always going the extra mile no matter what time of day, or where in the world you may be, thank you. To Toll Brothers for trusting me to take this to the finish line by your deadline, and dropping over $60k in per diem fees. And to my buyers for trusting me to deliver their desired results…this is definitely one for the 📚.
