Yesterday, I've touched on your limiting belief.

But here's the thing, there's the other side of the coin 〰️

Beliefs that are just straight-up wrong, especially around money. 💰

Does student loan debt really pay off? 🤷‍♀️

I would say NOT always. NOT even close.

ELITE SCHOOLS HAVE ALWAYS SEEMED LIKE *THE* ULTIMATE END RESULT TO A LOOOOOT OF AMERICANS...

I mean, just think about it — how often can you walk into a store or boutique and see a “vintage” Harvard sweatshirt or Cornell hat?

Ivy Leagues have just always been a thing to ~dream~ towards.

Here’s the thing, though… the student debt crisis in the United States is absolutely alarming.

- Americans owe more than $1.7 trillion in federal student loans.

Life. Is. Scary. 😳😳

You know what’s just as scary, though?

Not living.

And that is, in fact, what a lot of us tend to do.

How many times have you not done something because you were scared? Because you were nervous? Because you had an excuse not to? Because you didn’t think you could?

And, how many of those things you never did do you regret not doing? 🤔

See, we’re really not in the business of regrets over here. But, those regrets that we do have? They all come from things we didn’t do.

Things that had limiting beliefs attached to them.

Limiting beliefs are the internal and external factors you hold inside that keep you from doing something — and we see them a lot with money and anything related to it.

Here are a few examples:
- Thinking that you don’t have enough money to invest, so you never do it.

- Feeling like you can start later, and then worrying that you’re starting too late.

- Wondering how the heck you can budget or save or invest when math was never your strong suit.

Now, we aren’t saying that none of your limiting beliefs are valid. ✨

A lot of the time, they are valid — but that doesn’t mean that they’re not keeping you from living your fullest, free-est life.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Palm 〰️ I wanted to be an ambassador so I can help promote peace, trade, and the exchange of information...

Me? 🤔 I wanted to be a doctor so I can help take care of my family... well, the doctor dream was so far long ago.

Not realizing that doctors have the hardest and one of the highest-paid jobs in America.

Yes, doctors get compensated so well, however, they are still trading time (A LOT of time) for money. 😞

Doctors reel under unrelenting work pressure, they work for inhumane hours, suffer from severe burnout, undergo sleep deprivation, but despite all of these struggles, their profession demands them to put up a brave front...

With that being said, would you rather work hard for your money or have your money work hard for you? 🤔🤔
