As many of you know, we're installing a new building-wide water softening system on September 14-15. This upgrade will bring long-term benefits to the community, but on Tuesday, September 15, the water will not be fully back to normal during the daytime while final work is being completed.

We know that can make working from home a little less appealing. After all, it's hard to feel productive when you're wondering whether the water situation has settled down yet.

So, we reached out to our friends at Studious Co-Working & Event Space on Bamboo Lane and asked if they'd be willing to help out our residents for the day.

Good news: they said YES! 🎉

The opening reception for Faces Explained Away By The Light Of Day is happening this weekend at Eastern Projects and Blossom Plaza, you're invited!

On August 29th, Eastern Projects presents “Faces Explained Away by the Light of Day,” a group exhibition featuring Exene Cervenka, David Buckingham, Edward Carbajal, Gary Wong, and Cesar Massturd. Bringing together artists rooted in Los Angeles’ underground art, music, and creative communities, the exhibition highlights voices that have helped shape the city’s underground art, music, and counterculture movements.

These artists create a dialogue around personal experience, cultural memory, and the freedom to create outside traditional boundaries. “Faces Explained Away by the Light of Day” celebrates the artists who have shaped Los Angeles’ cultural identity through authenticity, experimentation, and an unwavering dedication to their own unique voices.

Reception is from 5-9pm on August 29th at Eastern Projects Gallery. See you there!

Blossom Plaza believes in the power of a lunar eclipse, which opens gateways to transformation.

Join us on Thursday, August 27th at 7pm to take a pause, reset, and transform. If you haven't experienced a sound bath, you really need to come to this resident event. It's truly transformative and the vibrational tones of the crystal bowls are healing and calm the nervous system.
