✨ Project Clarington ✨
Next up in the Before & After series is the upstairs Primary en suite….
True to the late 1980s, the bedroom was definitely oversized, but it was also incredibly dark and underwhelming. Now, the primary suite is grand, luxurious, and light-filled thanks to the large bifold slider and newly constructed deck that provides gorgeous panoramic views.
The bathroom had a large footprint, but a lot of space was oddly angled off and unusable….even the doorway to the bathroom looked like a short dark doorway to a cave!
To really utilize the space properly, the small linen cabinets in the toilet room were taken out, the built-in tub was demolished and the most massive vanity was replaced to make room for a beautiful custom vanity that includes linen storage and laundry hamper pullouts (!), a freestanding tub, and an enormous double rainfall shower.
And, to take advantage of the views provided by the windows, a tall archway was built to allow for a grand entrance to the spa-like bathroom.
Now, the upstairs primary en suite is a true retreat that you never want to leave!
Stay tuned for more Before & After reveals!
