This house was on its second day of staging when one of the workers helping to clean it up asked what was happening. When he found out it was being sold, he said “wait, this is perfect for me”. We didn’t even go live with this one, as we had accepted an offer over our projected asking price before photos were scheduled to be taken. This one took a bit longer than planned, but the buyer released his earnest money deposit along the way to help alleviate the time pressure on the seller. In the end everybody won!

S O L D! And it went like this...

9:35am: Called to see the house, was told it had multiple counters out to buyers. Told agent it was one of my best friends & current roommate and that we would be instantaneous & competitive immediately following if he liked it.

5:00pm: See the house

6:45pm: Offer in

11:30pm: Accepted offer!

11:45pm: Will & I walk to 7-11 with the dogs to get ice cream & celebrate

Sometimes you meet a client at a networking event... sometimes at a holiday party...sometimes a business referral. But my favorites are the ones you meet 100% as friends playing beer pong one “long” Saturday afternoon at Flaming Saddles… What started with a few pre-Covid tosses of a ping pong ball against a country music backdrop ended at a new construction house so beautifully done that it only lasted 5 days on the market. Marco & Matt were smart enough to recognize the opportunity the market presented and decided to sell while the proverbial iron was hot. We had over 45 showings, 4 total offers, and one smooth escrow with a truly remarkable agent, . Wishing them all the best as they build their next new home up in the Seattle area!
