Today marks 1 month of the birth of Chris and I’s first child, a boy, Austin. When people say having a child changes you forever; you can’t really understand it, until you do. We’re in the newborn trenches, and it is definitely a rough first month with a huge learning curve on top of the massive amount of body healing. Yet… it’s still so beautiful and joyous. We consider ourselves so lucky to have this beautiful boy in our life. Cheers to all the silent mothers who make this look easy, I didn’t respect it enough before but I get it now.
