I’m going to miss this one. Yes, we are super happy for our friend, and most recent owner, on the closing of this. And yes, the new owners will be THE best custodians of the place. But…it’s so rare to have perfect design, nature, and pedigreed Laurel Canyon rock music history in one transcendent place. John Lennon, a former visitor who had deep ties to previous owner Elliot Mintz once said, “Reality leaves a lot to the imagination,” but for Oak Court, the reality of the sublime aura felt like imaginings each time I was there. Congratulations to everyone.

Almost feels like another time and place. Halcyon Days in the heart of Topanga. Swedish farmhouse with Modern sensibilities & detached cabins here and there. A big respectful shout out to for transaction and listing a mini compound that is going to offer lots of productive thriving for long time friends of mine. Said by someone far more clever than me, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” In this case not an end per se, just an extension of more music, more feeling, and lots of prolific creativity. Can’t wait.)

Originality integrated with an eye for the best taste in furnishings = A Silver Lake place to fawn over. We love our neighborhood for different reasons, but untouched homes with style usually is close to top of list. Could have easily lounged the remainder of the day.
