Getting into escrow is exciting, but you're not at the finish line just yet. Until your loan funds and you have the keys in your hand, keep your finances exactly as they are.

🚫 Don't buy a new car.
🚫 Don't open a new credit card.
🚫 Don't finance new furniture or appliances.
🚫 Don't change jobs—even if it's a great opportunity.
🚫 Don't close any existing credit cards.

Your lender may check your credit and employment again before closing, and even small financial changes can affect your loan approval.
