Six offers. One house.
And a reminder that relationships still win deals.

Last September, Jon, Katie and I toured 400 Dorrance Road in Boulder Creek. At the time, this remarkable property was listed at $2.5 million, already reduced from $2.6 million.

And remarkable really is the right word. Five structures, including an incredible main house and a separate 3-bedroom, 2-bath ADU that gives their son and his girlfriend the opportunity to have a home of their own right on the property.

We loved it, but the timing and price weren't quite right, so we decided to wait.

Fast-forward to this year. We noticed a significant price reduction and decided it was time to take another look. Mountain properties come with another level of due diligence — insurance, wells, septic, access, multiple structures and plenty of other details that need to be understood before moving forward.

We dug into the disclosures, did our homework and decided to make an offer.

Today, I'm thrilled to say Jon and Katie are the proud owners of 400 Dorrance Road, secured for $1.95 million.
