Keeping a clean house can be a daunting task no matter how long you’ve lived there; sometimes “clean enough” has to do. Here’s some of my best tips when it comes to keeping a “clean” house:
-- It starts with making the bed. Starting your day with this small task will encourage you to do another, and another, and another. By the end of the day, that one task will have turned into a whole day of accomplishments.
-- Never leave a room empty handed. As you move from room to room, take anything that belongs where you’re going to its rightful place.
-- Prioritize. Not all cleaning is created equal.
-- Declutter. Taking the time to organize your home will drastically cut down on the amount of time it takes to deep clean it.
-- Clean as you go. Putting away items after you use them makes a huge difference on what’s left to be cleaned.
At the end of the day, be happy with “clean enough," because your house doesn’t have to be spotless to be a home.
