Congratulations to my dearest friends, Leo and Whitney, for selling their Shelbyville house last week. I really am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. Leo and I met when we worked in management together at Holland trucking before my real estate career started. We instantly bonded over our shared distain of that place lol. I knew Leo would be a lifelong friend when he had my back when no one else did at the end of my time at Holland.
I fired an employee for trying to fight me, not once but twice, in the same night. Other union workers tried to punk and intimidate me for months to let this guy come back. I refused, the company brought this unstable man back and terminated me the same day. Leo risked his job to help me collect evidence of the way I was treated to take to an attorney that practiced employment law. Turns out there was nothing I could do and I lost that job as soon as Covid hit. I lost the job but I gained a friend for life.
Fast forward and Leo meets the love of his life, Whitney. Leo had told me all about Whitney and that he was crazy about her. My first time meeting Whitney was when I had the honor of being invited to their beautiful wedding in the cutest little historic town of Aurora, IN. You could instantly see that they were made for each other. Whitney was the yin to Leo’s yang.
A friendship that was sealed in the tumultuous end to my prior career came full circle when my loving friends called me to sell their house in Shelbyville. They were an absolute joy to work with. Their home sold quickly and for the most money that any home of this size in their neighborhood had sold before. I’m eternally grateful for our friendship and your choosing me to be your agent. Love you guys and congratulations!
