Since moving from Houston to Louisville in 1994, Julie has devoted much of her time to raising her children Elizabeth and Andrew, opening her own boutique real estate firm, and serving Louisville's community. and her master's from Indiana University, Julie embarked upon a seven-year journey of teaching gifted children. Encouraged by this success, Julie considered establishing her own boutique real estate firm and, in 2003, she launched Julie Pogue Properties, selling historic and unique homes in the Anchorage area. That first year of Julie Pogue Properties, Julie got out of the gate quickly and with gusto, selling more real estate than any other agent in the city, attaining the highest average sale price per home and immediately rocketing to the front as a leader in her profession. Through the years, the business has expanded to other selective areas and includes varying price points. Since the beginning, Julie has consistently been one of the highest grossing real estate agents in the Louisville area and entire state.
