Spring is in the air! Can you feel it? 🌸🌼🩷 We sure can! Thank you to Limerick Neighborhood Association & Fund for the Arts for this amazing day of celebration! Our residents truly love the garden and we can not wait to start harvesting!

Ode To Spring! Yesterday was the most lovely day for our Garden Gathering!

Just a little down from our Chapel and Friendship House there is a garden oasis, filled with grapes, carrots, tomatoes, and even peaches!

We spent the afternoon enjoying crafts such as rock decorating, sipping sweet tea and lemonade, eating fresh fruit and vegetables, and viewing artwork crafted by our residents - all while listening to live music and a few special guest speakers!

President and CEO Mary Lynn Spalding welcomed everyone, Chaplain Jennifer lead us in a blessing of the garden, President of the Limerick Association Derrick Pedolzky shared the gardens history, Activities Director Theresa Powell spoke of how much this garden means to our residents and Theresa Johnson thanked Fund for the Arts for this generous celebration.

It truly was a phenomenal day.

Fund for the Arts special thanks for making this event possible! Intertwining art, heart and gardening made for a magical afternoon.

Limerick Neighborhood Association we are forever grateful for this partnership and the positive impact you have had on our entire CCC Community!

Our Sunday school class is led by elders and members from both First Christian Church and Beargrass Christian Church!

We are so grateful for the legacy partnerships with these two congregations. The Minary Class has been meeting at Chapel House since 1979! Even before that, the class had its origin at First Christian Church when that congregation met at Fourth and Breckinridge St.
