Every real estate closing is a special milestone, but this one meant a little more to me.
If you know me, you know how much I admire Coach Steve Bocko. He was my high school football coach at Jeffersontown High School in the early 1990s, and the impact he had on my life is something I'll always be grateful for. He taught me lessons that went far beyond football.
Years later, life came full circle when I had the privilege of coaching his grandson in youth football for six seasons. Those are memories I'll always cherish.
So when Coach Bocko called and asked if I would help sell a home for an estate where he was serving as executor, I was truly honored that he trusted me with such an important responsibility.
To make the story even better, the home was purchased by another young man, Jackson Gelhaus, I had the pleasure of coaching at St. Edward. Moments like this remind me how connected our community really is.
That's Jtown. It's a place where relationships span generations, and it's one of the many reasons I'm proud to call it home.
