A deck I did during the spring time and forgot to post the pictures šŸ˜‘. Previous deck was not attached to the house with v***r barrier so the band board of the house was completely rotted away. Replaced that, framed up new structure with tape on top of joist, 3 different moisture barriers against house with joist flashing. Custom built in bench and has the railing integrated into the bench. The yard was also graded for drainage away from foundation and leveled out at the front of the deck so you can walk off the deck without a step. Customer also decided to add the handrail in the corner.

All tile is done for Finish plumbing, patching/painting, vanity and lights will be a little later. Cabinet is being cus...

All tile is done for Finish plumbing, patching/painting, vanity and lights will be a little later. Cabinet is being custom made to sit on the stair well and granite for the top will match the shower niche piece.

New kitchen floor and back splash done! The original floor had a hump or dip (depending on how you look at it) to the left side of the kitchen. Some places where nearly 3/4 inch dip. Self leveling base went down and then ditra now itā€™s straight as an arrow! Took a little longer than anticipated but demo was a beast by my self.

Hereā€™s the finished product (well 98% done, waiting on the glass panel for the door and the mirror. All new drywall, ceiling was added to keep moisture off of joists and exhaust fan installed to move moisture out of the room and out of the house. This is my first attempt at ā€œspilling tileā€ out of a shower. She asked if I could handle it and I told her Iā€™ve been dying for someone to ask me to do this. And well it got handled. Tile ā€œhardwoodā€ floor for the bath floor and 2x2 matte white hex on the shower floor. Accent wall behind the toilet with a custom magnetic vent cover so it would match the rest of the wall without stick out too much. Custom 16ā€ infinity niche goes wall to wall with all grout lines lining up. Small linen closet with custom shelving for towels/wash clothes. And a fresh toilet.

My buddy Austin did the drywall. He also paints but Iā€™d already given the paint away. If youā€™re in Indiana he does great work touching up drywall and painting give him a call (+1 (502) 409-1460)

Hereā€™s a look at the beginning of a bathroom I just finished. This was a bathroom started by another contractor whoā€™s help apparently passed away, and the contractor himself never showed back up. This is my grandparents master bath we had my painter refinish the cabinet and mirror to match. New bath floor that is real slate, small hexagon slate on the shower floor, polished 12x24 porcelain on walls. Solid quartz curb top, and soap dishes. Vanity top is new granite and new sink bowl.

So here it is! Added a full custom shower to make it a full bath. Concrete jacked up to re run drains and cap unused drains. And plumbing ran for future second floor projects. Relocated the washer and dryer since the shower is now where those were. There was a lot of things that couldnā€™t be moved completely so had to keep a tight soffit. Tile floor in bathroom and laminate in bedroom. The home owner got the slab of wood for the sink, sanded, and finished it herself and she made the barn doors herself! I love the look of all of it!
