A Chapter Closes – A New Chapter Begins!
Such mixed emotions racing through me as I write you, my wonderful family, friends, and clients.
As many of you may know, Ruth Kilchenman, who joined us as our Buyer Specialist almost a decade ago, has purchased The Shafer Team. Jerry has retired as Operations Manager, and that position is now held by Ruth’s husband, Dan. I am still licensed and finishing up our contractual agreement soon, but Ruth is now totally at the helm as the owner of their company, and Jerry and I could not possibly be more pleased that Ruth is now the new team owner with Keller Williams Realty Louisville East.
After 33 years of “Moving Families and Building Friendships”, Jerry and I are now playing golf in sunny Florida! But we will forever be grateful for your support of our business all these many years. So many of you are now our dear friends as a result of our meeting through the world of real estate. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
And although Florida is our new address, our home will ALWAYS be Kentucky, and we plan to come home often to visit, so please don’t think of us as gone, but just a few extra miles down the road.
I do hope you will look to Ruth for all your future real estate needs and will not hesitate to refer her to your friends and family, just as you did for us. Ruth is an outstanding Realtor, who also has well over 25 years of experience as a top producer. Most of you reading this already know she is a woman of integrity with a strong work ethic. And she is my dear friend.
