The holiday season is the perfect time to show our appreciation for Thoroughbred lovers, like you, who do their part to ensure that every retired racehorse has a home and a purpose beyond the track. There are more than 20,000 Thoroughbreds born in the United States every year, and they average no more than four years at the track. But they have so much more to give when their racing careers are over. Thank you so much for your support! Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our mission.
TAKE2 was created to help provide bright futures for retired racehorses. More than 2,500 Thoroughbreds have competed across the country in the TAKE2 Hunter and Jumper divisions. More than 1,000 horses have made a smooth transition to a second career through our TAKE THE LEAD Program. You have contributed to a happy ending for every one of those horses.
