📣⏰ We’re proud to share the vision for Clockworks — the transformational redevelopment of the former Colgate-Palmolive campus in Clarksville, Indiana.

What was once an iconic industrial site will be reimagined as a mixed-use destination centered around hospitality, sports tourism, entertainment, public gathering spaces, historic preservation, and community connection.

At the heart of the project remains the site’s legendary clock — a symbol of the past and a beacon for what’s ahead.

We’re excited to continue working alongside local and state partners as this vision moves forward.

A new chapter begins at 100 Public Square in Elizabethtown!

The historic Hardin County Courthouse is being thoughtfully reimagined as a 24-room boutique hotel with dedicated event space, bringing new life to one of downtown Elizabethtown’s most iconic buildings.

This redevelopment is led by Weyland Ventures in partnership with Elizabethtown Renaissance Associates. Financing is provided by West Point Bank, with The Cecilian Bank serving as the historic tax credit investor. Bosse Construction is the project’s general contractor.

Celebrating 30 Years of the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory (Hillerich & Bradsby Co.)! ⚾️

Weyland Ventures is proud to recognize this milestone for one of downtown Louisville’s most beloved landmarks.

Our founder, Bill Weyland, played a key role in the project’s development by partnering with the city and Hillerich & Bradsby Co. to bring the iconic bat factory and museum to West Main Street. The move not only brought a beloved brand home, but also helped spark the revitalization of Louisville’s Museum Row.

Fun fact: the 120-foot Big Bat (built by Caldwell Tanks, Inc.) that leans proudly against the building isn’t just for show. It actually serves as a plumbing vent for the restrooms in the basement!

Here’s to 30 years of craftsmanship, history, and home runs for our city!

"A Louisville, Kentucky, public-private adaptative reuse project takes on housing affordability in one of the city's historic areas near the Ohio River waterfront.

In March 2024, Weyland Ventures and Catalyst Opportunity Funds opened Painters Row, a conversion of two industrial buildings totaling 124,000 square feet into 71 apartments and mixed-use commercial space.

Painters Row, designed to increase the economic stability of the underserved Portland neighborhood, was selected by local industry professionals as a winner of the 2025 CoStar Impact Award for multifamily development of the year for greater Louisville."

"Weyland Ventures and Common Bond Hotel Collection’s in-house design team partnered with Joseph & Joseph Architects from Louisville and EOP Architects with offices in Lexington and Louisville to painstakingly restore the building from the inside out while maintaining as many of the original features as possible, including the exposed interior brickwork walls, original wood ceiling structures, historic windows, and many original internal and external decorative elements. New flooring, tile, carpet, custom lighting and hotel furniture was carefully and expertly selected to add a modern polish without detracting from the beauty of the original features, blending contemporary and classic styles to create a space that celebrates Kentucky’s distinctive heritage."
