There is something about this weekend that pulls everyone back to the same place. The backyard. The front porch. The kitchen where somebody is always reaching over somebody else to grab another plate.

Today we are thinking about the people who fill our homes and the country that lets us build them. The neighbors who wave from their driveways. The friends who show up early and stay late. The families gathered around a grill, telling the same stories they told last year and laughing just as hard.

That is what home has always been about for us. Not the square footage or the finishes, but the people who make a house worth coming home to.

Some searches stretch on for weeks. This one came down to two days and a quick decision.

My buyers aren’t from Louisville, and they were working against a real time crunch, so we made the most of every moment. We added properties to the search and pivoted as we went, looking at both houses and condos across a lot of different areas, just to make sure they had a clear picture of what they really wanted.
