🎉 Congratulations to Stephanie on her promotion to Executive Chef! 👩‍🍳
Today was Stephanie's last day with us as she begins an exciting new chapter at our sister community, Deerfield Springs in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she will be leading her own kitchen.

While we are sad to see her go, this is exactly the kind of success story we love to celebrate. We believe in helping our team members grow and pursue opportunities that advance their careers, and seeing Stephanie earn this well-deserved promotion is incredibly rewarding.

Our residents celebrated her achievement during Happy Hour, presenting her with cards, kind words, and a plaque of appreciation. Their support was a true reflection of the impact she has made and the relationships she has built during her time with us.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the 21c Museum Hotel Louisville, where we explored thought-provoking exhibits and admired a wide variety of contemporary art. The museum sparked great conversation and offered plenty of inspiration along the way.

After taking in the artwork, we gathered for a delicious lunch at Proof on Main, enjoying great food, wonderful company, and a relaxing afternoon together.

Outings like these are a wonderful way to stay engaged with our community, discover new perspectives, and create meaningful memories with friends.

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing and creative Paint & Sip afternoon, where each artist transformed a pre-designed canvas into a work of art. As creativity flowed, residents sipped on w**e or sparkling grape juice, making for a fun and social experience filled with laughter, conversation, and self-expression.

Our monthly science experiment was a fascinating one as residents explored the world of DNA using bananas! By following a few simple scientific steps, we were able to extract and observe visible strands of DNA with the naked eye.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was Nancy's experiment, which was such a success that other residents gathered around to see the remarkable results for themselves. Seeing DNA come to life outside of a textbook sparked plenty of curiosity, conversation, and excitement throughout the room.

Activities like these prove that it's never too late to discover something new. Through hands-on learning and shared experiences, we continue to nurture the mind, body, and spirit while having fun along the way.

Our residents enjoyed a special tour of the Village Crossing Community Garden led by our very own Faye! Sharing her knowledge and passion for gardening, Faye introduced us to the many plants growing throughout the garden and gave us a closer look at this season's impressive harvest.

To make the event even more exciting, Faye offered garden-inspired door prizes, including one of several watermelons growing in the garden and even a pumpkin!
