Our residents recently welcomed warmer days with a joyful spring planting experience, generously sponsored by Lighter Hearts. From vibrant flowers to charming pots and whimsical decorations, every detail made the afternoon feel extra special. Residents had so much fun personalizing their creations with sweet touches like fairies, ladybugs, and other delightful accents—each pot as unique as the person who made it. Our travels through Italy continued with a beautiful slideshow presentation led by our managers, showcasing the country from north to south. Residents enjoyed exploring Italy’s rich landscapes, culture, and traditions through stunning visuals and engaging conversation.

The experience led us right into a festive Italian Happy Hour, where we savored a delicious spread featuring three wines, flavorful cheeses and olives, and sweet cannolis to finish.

From learning to tasting, the day captured the heart of Italian culture—bringing us together through shared experiences that nourish the mind, body, and spirit.

Our community enjoyed a wonderful day “traveling” to Italy, filled with delicious food, learning, and shared experiences! One highlight was a hands-on pizza-making class led by our Executive Chef, Jack, who showed residents how to make fresh focaccia bread from scratch before adding their favorite toppings to create the perfect pizza. Along the way, we learned about the history of pizza and discovered some fun and surprising facts that made the experience even more memorable!
