This one didn't last long enough for me to market it. But, I still wanted to say that I am never jaded by this business. I meet lots of people in Real Estate that appear to have the wrong motivations, and it shows. Almost always, you are working with people who are going through life changes, both good and bad... marriage, babies, new job, downsizing, divorce, and sometimes death.
I helped my good friend buy this beautiful condo less than two years ago. Tragically, not long after, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She knew that her time with us was coming to a close. I hope that if I am ever dealing with those circumstances, I have half the presence, grace and maturity to deal with it as she did. She went in head on and managed all of her affairs and final wishes, which included making sure that her executor knew that I was to handle the sale of her home after she was gone. I am humbled by the faith she had in me and the loyalty she showed in our friendship.
Buying or selling your home is always a big deal. I never take that for granted. I know that she would be thrilled with how it worked out. I miss my friend!
