1. Let mother nature dry your clothes - hang them on a clothesline or drying rack - especially jeans and towels!
2. Clean the lint screen/trap after every use.
3. Clean the dryer vent ductwork. Built-up lint makes your dryer run inefficiently and is a fire hazard.

1. Set the thermostat a few degrees higher - especially between 2:00pm and 7:00pm
2. In the morning - close curtains/shades on the east side of the house. In the afternoon and evening - close the curtains/shades on the west side of the house.
3. Open the windows at night to let the cool night air in. Close the windows in the morning before the outside temperatures reach 72-74 degrees.
