✨ A Little About This Family’s Journey ✨
I first met Chau and Vu through my past clients, The To’s, and earlier this year we sat down to map out a game plan for navigating a home sale contingency in this ever‑changing Rockford market. A few weeks later I met the third seller, Tin - and that’s when the pressure really kicked in. List the condo, get it under contract, and jump straight into the house‑hunting grind.
We listed the condo and within just a few days, multiple offers over asking rolled in. Exciting, yes - but choosing the right offer can be absolutely heart‑wrenching. Which one is the best fit? Which one gets you to your next chapter? After careful consideration, Chau and Vu chose the offer that aligned perfectly with their goals. Congratulations to the new buyer as well - I’m thrilled for you and hope you enjoy your new home for many years.
🙌 Then came the hunt.
Showing after showing, Chau and Vu started to feel discouraged. Some homes could work, but none of them felt like the one. Then a new listing popped up, and we knew it wouldn’t last long. We scheduled a showing immediately. The moment they walked in - saw the kitchen, the layout, and the space their multi‑generational family needed - they felt it in their gut. This was it.
I rushed home, wrote the offer, and sent it off. The next day, we learned the home had multiple offers, and my heart sank. After collaborating with my clients and making a few strategic adjustments, we submitted our strongest version… and soon after, we got the call. Their offer was accepted.
The joy in making that phone call to my clients - hearing the excitement, the relief, the happiness - that feeling is one of the absolute best parts of this career. Moments like that make every challenge worth it.
Yesterday was closing day. Chau, Vu, and Tin sold the condo and Chau & Vu signed the papers, grabbed the keys, took a closing day photo with the seller, and officially became the proud owners of a beautiful new home. 🏡💛
