This beautiful, hand built, secluded log cabin is situated in front of a rainbow trout stocked lake. Lakefront also has white sandy beach with tropical trees and plants to enhance that vacation vibe! Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, you'll be sure to have a memorable visit. There are two bedrooms (one with a king size bed, the second bedroom has a full size and a queen size bed, and there is a
day bed in between the rooms), 1 bathroom, a modern kitchen (complete with refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave and coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, dishes, mugs/cups, flatware and cooking utensils). Outside you'll find a gas grill and fire pit. Be sure to bring some firewood for s'mores! There is a pool table and satellite tv/dvd player in the living room. Wi-Fi too!!! We provide all your sheets and towels. You will need to bring:
All your toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.) Any paper products: paper towels, toilet paper, napkins trash bags, etc. There is a Food Lion Grocery Store, Dollar General and a Family Dollar 7 miles south of the farm on highway 29. When renting the cabin, you have exclusive use of the entire facility: cabin, lake, and beach. Take a short walk up the hill to visit our family friendly Wood Ridge Farm Brewery featuring our own craft beer and seltzers. Seasonally our Wood Ridge Farm Tiki Bar is open featuring fun & fruity seltzer slushies. We also have a non-alcoholic version for the kids, along with sodas and juice bags too. Wood Ridge Farm Bakery serves up the most amazing wood fired brick oven pizza! Our "Fired Up" stationary food truck offers burgers, wings, subs, fries and onion rings along with seasonal options. We like to use as many fresh ingredients as possible that we either grow and raise right here on the farm or source locally. The brewery offers fun activities such as corn hole, volleyball, lots of room to run around or fly a kite, and our own driving range. You might even get to pet our furry friend, Pepperoni the cat, or feed peanuts to our peacocks! Take a picture at our 14 foot LOVE sign (The largest love sign in Virginia). Along the walk up to the brewery, be sure to say hi to our beautiful black angus cows. Other available activities include fishing (bring your pole!), hiking, kayaking, swimming or just relaxing on the beach! Bring your own kayak, canoe or inner tubes and enjoy a scenic 8-mile river ride on the Rock Fish River. (Shorter river rides are available too!)
