Last night was one of those unforgettable Mom moments that fills your heart to the brim. As Shantel’s plus one at her annual company gala - Arundel Lodge, I had the absolute privilege of watching her stand before a packed room and command the stage with confidence, passion, and purpose. Listening to her speak so eloquently about the organization she works for, the lives they impact, and the people they serve left me completely in awe.

There are few things more rewarding than seeing your child walk confidently in their purpose, and last night she did just that. Watching her own the room, inspire others, and represent her team with such professionalism and authenticity was beyond impressive—it was breathtaking. I couldn’t stop smiling. Moments like these remind me that all the sacrifices, lessons, and prayers were worth it. My baby was up there shining, and she was absolutely top tier. 💫❤️ PS. I even saw a kickballer.

Spring Break Week!!
I was blessed to spend some time with my granddaughter. Seeing her grow from season to season is amazing. She is very bright, but in the same token —- the things she says makes me wonder, who raised you. 😂😂

We spent our saying doing all things mostly free. Watkins Park Nature Center, Old Maryland Farm, Playground and ended the day with ice cream and sprinkles. ❤️

Dear Me,

Happy Birthday, you fabulous work of art! 🎉 Today is all about celebrating me – the one who’s mastered the art of winging it through life while looking totally bad ass doing it. I mean, who else can pull off being this charming, slightly chaotic, and utterly brilliant all at the same time?

Let’s take a moment to applaud all the amazing things I’ve accomplished this past year – like remembering most passwords, sort of eating less carbs and more protein, and not accidentally replying “you too” when a waiter said, “Enjoy your meal.” Truly, I’m thriving.

This year, I promise to keep being unapologetically me – laughing loudly, dancing when the mood hits, and loving fiercely. I’ll also try to drink more water, because apparently, ginger ale doesn’t count (rude).

So here’s to another year of adventures, lessons, and maybe a nap or two. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I can’t wait to see where I’ll go next. Now, let’s eat cake and not count the calories or sugar!

Seventy years of wit, wisdom, and a little bit of mischief! Not only did she give me life, but she also gave me a crash course in real estate and the hustle.

Mom, you’ve taught me so much: the importance of perseverance, the art of negotiation and that every property has potential—just like every person. Watching you navigate life has shown me that age really is just a number, and determination doesn’t come with an expiration date.

She’s also the only person I know who could turn a casual drive into a full neighborhood market analysis, all while pointing out every ‘potential flip’ and ‘cute curb appeal.’ Mom, thank you for inspiring me, teaching me to see value in the details, and reminding me that ‘location, location, location’ applies to just about everything. Here’s to you—still closing deals and hearts at 70! Cheers to many more years of adventures, laughter, and finding the perfect comps! ❤️🥂
