Another month, another reminder that real estate is always changing!

Here's what August looked like across Baldwin County:

• Average Sales Price: $411,213 ↑ 6.02%
• Average Days on Market: 73 ↑ 2.82%
• Closed Sales: 535 ↓ 5.31%
🌴 Resort / Island Market
• Average Sales Price: $776,553 ↓ 6.37%
• Average Days on Market: 107 ↓ 7.76%
• Closed Sales: 156 ↓ 16.67%

So what's the takeaway?
It's not as simple as "the market is up" or "the market is down."
Traditional home values are continuing to show solid growth, while the resort market is seeing homes move a little faster despite a drop in average sales price and overall closings.
