Jennifer Babb, our Property Accountant, is our August Employee of the Month. Our Chief Financial Officer, AJ Martinez, had the honor of presenting the award.

Jennifer’s role touches a lot of people, a lot of properties and a lot of questions that have to be sorted out along the way. She brings a level of awareness to the work that helps everyone around her keep moving, and her value to Stellar reaches well beyond Accounting.

Happy three-year anniversary, Pierce Stell! We’re so proud of you and grateful you’re part of the Stellar family.

Pierce started with us as an intern, and it’s been a joy to watch him come into his own. He’s always willing to take something on and figure it out, but what makes him so much fun to work with is the attitude he brings along with him.

Pierce, thank you for the encouragement you bring to the people around you and for making the workday a little brighter. We’re grateful you chose to grow with Stellar, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

Please join us in celebrating seven years with Shane Bright. He’s given so much to Stellar, and we have plenty to thank him for!

Shane leads our Construction team with a level head and the kind of consistency people can count on. He invests in his own growth as a leader, and always willing to roll up his sleeves to jump into the work alongside his team.

Stellar Construction wouldn’t be what it is today without you, Shane. Thank you for seven years of hard work and for being someone this team can always depend on.

Just back from El Paso with part of our management and marketing team, getting to know the market before we open Virtu at Upper Valley.

We spent time at the property, drove the area, shopped comps and talked with local teams. It was one of those trips that gives you a much better feel for a market than you can ever get from reports or numbers.

West El Paso has a lot happening. The growth is easy to see, the area is busy and vibrant, and the mountain backdrop doesn’t hurt either.

More than anything, it was helpful to spend time there together, learn the market and come home with a better understanding of the people and place we’ll be serving.

A really good trip.

Today we got to celebrate someone who spends an awful lot of time celebrating everyone else.

Donna O'Donnell has been part of Stellar for seven years, and if you know Donna, you know she is usually the one jumping in to help, take care of someone, pull something together, or make sure nobody gets left out.

Susie said it perfectly. Donna has never tried to talk her off the ledge. She just joins her out there. Whether there are two months to plan something or two hours, Donna is usually saying, “I’m in.” And somehow, she still does it with a smile.

Her title is Connections Coordinator, but honestly, that’s just who she is.

Donna, thank you for seven years of caring for people so well. We’re so thankful for you and so glad you’re part of the Stellar family. ❤️

Melissa is a Corporate Accountant here at Stellar, and if you ask our Chief Product Officer and Principal, Susie Stell, about her, you'll get a smile before you even get the answer.

Susie shared that she can send Melissa an email and just... delete it. Not because it doesn't matter — because she knows without a doubt Melissa's already got it handled.

That's the kind of trust and reliability Melissa brings every single day. Detail-oriented, dependable, and someone this whole team genuinely leans on.

What started as a simple idea has become one of our favorite Stellar traditions.

Our Annual Leadership Conference gives our onsite property managers a chance to step away from the day-to-day, recharge, connect, learn, and feel celebrated for the important work they do all year long.

This year, we gathered in Houston for an out-of-this-world experience filled with training, team building, games, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments.

The theme may have taken us to another galaxy, but the heart of ALC has always been our people. We are grateful for this incredible team and the energy, leadership, and heart they bring to Stellar every day.

We’ve been giving the gong a workout lately.

From lease-ups reaching stabilization, to new third-party construction partnerships, to asset management milestones worth making some noise about, there is plenty to celebrate across Stellar. Around here, progress does not go unnoticed.

Because behind every gong is a team that worked hard, solved problems, stayed focused, and made something great happen.

So, if you hear the gong, no need to sound the alarm. It is just Team Stellar making some noise.
