"Teamwork" is crucial when helping clients achieve their goals in real estate. This philosophy was an easy concept for Rusty to incorporate into his business after years of teaching and coaching. His belief in "education" is evident in his real estate practice as well: he feels that the more information a client has, the better decision they are able to make. he also understands that a person learns more by listening than by talking; therefore he pays close attention to his clients' need before making a recommendation. The importance of continuing education is also reflected in Rusty's real estate practice:
GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) in 1997,
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) in 1999,
ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) 2003,
CNHS (Certified New Home Specialist) in 2005, and
TRLP (Texas Realtor Leadership Program) in 2009. With four children and three grandchildren, Rusty understands the needs of the growing family - from little league to college graduation. Giving back to the community is also very important - Children's Miracle Network, Lions Club, United Way, and several other organizations. He is an activemember of the Wolfforth United Methodist Church where he has served on numerous committes. In addition to his community service, Rusty is also active in the Lubbock Association of Realtors where he has served in various capacities:
