Fewer homes on the market, more of them selling, prices holding steady — Lubbock County is still leaning seller's market, but it's not overheated.

Lubbock County Housing Report — 2026 Q2 Highlights

The market is staying healthy and moving fast!

-Median price: $248,160 (nearly flat, +0.9% YoY)
-Active listings: 1,531 (down 5%)
-Closed sales: 1,619 (up 13.4%!)
-Time to sell: 81 days total (48 to get an offer, 33 to close)
-Months of inventory: 3.6 (down from 4.1)

With inventory tightening and sales climbing, conditions still lean toward sellers — but flat pricing means buyers aren't getting squeezed either. A healthy, balanced market for Lubbock County!
