Vickie has been married for thirty-two years and is the mother of an 27-year-old daughter, Leena, who works at a local accounting firm, and a 22-year-old son, Omar, who attends Colgate University. Vickie is actively involved in the community and in her family life. She is a member of Christ the King Cathedral, where she is also a Sunday School teacher, the Women's Organization, is active with Meals on Wheels and CASA of the South Plains, and is a volunteer at local hospitals.
