If you missed the Open House, here it is, the completion of The Oxley House! A very challenging project, but also extremely rewarding to now be apart of history restoring this old home!

This house has had a lot of setbacks that have delayed the project a few months. We knew it would be a challenge taking on a historic property and we are coming down the final stretch! Adding this to the front really brought some excitement and some emotions to the table. We put our stamp on history and hopefully this house stands for another 180+ years!

With warm weather right around the corner, it felt like the right time to post our exterior renderings for “The Oxley” house! There was a lot of back and forth, but we have finalized our design and ready to get started. Light fixtures and such may change, but the design and colors will be like the photos. We hope everyone likes the concept, we can’t wait to bring this vision to life!

Demo is nearing completion on “The Oxley”. Unfortunately the side porch addition was not salvageable, as it was structurally compromised from a poor foundation and termite damage. The original home however is in great shape moving forward!

The side deck is being restructured and framing of the interior should begin in the coming week or so! We are also scheduled for a brand new roof very soon! The project is moving quick and we are on pace for our July 1 deadline we set for ourselves!

More progress photos to come as we move along!

Day 1 on house. Today we wanted to start this project by placing flowers out of respect on Mr. and Mrs Oxleys grave. As we bring this home back to its original glory, may they bless the home, watch over us and keep us and our contractors safe throughout the duration of the renovation!
