The RPAC Happy Hour, hosted by the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS®, was a great event! We had the honor of hearing from four of the seven Baltimore County Council Members, who shared some of the important initiatives they’re working on to strengthen the future of real estate in our area.

Local government has a direct impact on our real estate market, and I’m optimistic about where Baltimore County is headed,especially when it comes to allowing more attainable housing to be built. We also need to create a smoother, more efficient permitting process. It shouldn’t take longer to issue permits than it does to build the actual house.

This is exactly why supporting RPAC matters, advocating for the real estate community and ensuring our voices are heard where it counts!

I’m so excited for my buyer client and good friend to be under contract on his new home! I connected him with Coastline Mortgage, who provided a $4,500 lender credit, and I negotiated a $5,400 seller credit toward his closing costs. That’s $9,900 in savings, plus Coastline is covering all appraisal fees, bringing total savings to over $10,000!
