🌲🏡 A NEW CHAPTER AT LUTSEN SOLITUDE! 🏡🌲

Hello, Lutsen Solitude friends! 👋

We have some exciting news to share and thought it was time to introduce ourselves!

We're Joseph and Heather, the new owners of Lutsen Solitude, and we couldn't be more excited to begin this new adventure!

We've spent years visiting Lutsen and Minnesota's beautiful North Shore, and this area has always held a special place in our hearts. After many wonderful stays and countless memories made here, the opportunity came along to make Lutsen Solitude our own. We just couldn't pass it up!

We live in the Twin Cities and love heading north whenever we get the chance. We'll be personally managing the cabin, so when you reach out, you'll be connecting directly with us! Our goal is simple: to create a warm, comfortable, and welcoming getaway where our guests can relax, recharge, and make their own wonderful North Shore memories.

✨ SO, WHAT'S NEXT FOR LUTSEN SOLITUDE?

We're heading north in November to roll up our sleeves and give the cabin a little refresh! We have some exciting updates planned and can't wait to add a few personal touches while keeping all the charm that makes Lutsen Solitude so special.

We’re turning the page on a wonderful chapter! Lutsen Solitude has been sold to Joe Holmes and Heather Pederson, who will be welcoming guests going forward. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us, followed along, and made this home such a special part of our lives for the past 24 years. This page will continue with them, and we wish them much success as they begin their own chapter at 4 Lodge Lane!

Waterfall season is here, get on up here and take a waterfall tour! Our vacation rental is in an ideal location, Cross, Temperance and Cascade Rivers are all within 15 minutes. Don't forget to stop at Gooseberry on your way up the shore.

❄️First measurable snow of the season has arrived overnight, with more on the way! ❄️Snowfall totals vary based on distance from Lake Superior, this measurement is from the Lutsen area with just shy of 6”.
⚠️The plows are out and the main roads have been plowed, however, the roads are reportedly slippery, travel with caution.

🎄Remember: Join us in on Friday, 11/28 for the Oh Ole Night Parade & Fireworks. For those out of the area, tune in to to hear the special radio broadcast programming with local voices celebrating the holiday season.
