🌞 OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW 🌞
The new home closing day was a few weeks ago, but this one took a little time to fully decide what to say.. In a nutshell, some relationships in real estate are so much bigger than just the transaction, but this one is even more different.... Years ago (another lifetime and pre real estate), I had the privilege of calling this client my boss. No, like.. for real, my boss.. I'm talking monthly one on ones, asking for a raise, like, my legit boss. But unlike most bosses, she created an environment of trust that made it extremely easy for me to confide in her that I needed more and was thinking about taking a chance at real estate. With her full support, I was allowed a schedule to accomodate the pursuit of a whole new career and she did not blink when I made a decision to move on. A couple years later, she asked me to help her and her family relocate to Florida. And if you've been following me since the beginning of my career, you saw that transaction take place a few years ago. Fast forward to this past spring when it was time for their next chapter, she called me again. Which brings me to my "why".... helping them purchase another home was already incredibly special... but it also became the very first closing for Home Girls & Guys Realty. ❤️ Then we turned around, listed their previous home, and had it under contract in just THREE days... and now we've officially closed on that one too!
..All of this to say, trust like this isn't built overnight. It's built through showing up, doing the right thing, communicating, and putting people first every single time. Thank you for believing in me, trusting me again, and allowing me to be part of another huge milestone in your life, you two. I'm so grateful you chose to do life here in Florida!
