—just a friendly little splash of information for everyone with a pool. 💦

Lately, we’ve arrived at several pools with water levels running a bit too low. When that happens, we sometimes need to shut the pump off to keep it from running dry (and trust us, pumps do not enjoy thirst traps).

When the pump is off, the water can’t circulate properly, which can lead to unwanted growth in the pool... and nobody wants a science experiment happening in the backyard. 🦠 Yuck! It can also mean extra chemicals are needed to get everything back in shape.

We do our best to help while we’re there, and if a hose is available, we’ll gladly toss it in to start refilling. However, since we’re only on site for a short time, it usually isn’t enough to make a big difference.

We kindly ask that you keep an eye on your pool’s water level and top it off as needed. A happy pool likes to stay full!
