FSBO for short, but not for long. My client's and I have one of these rare creatures under contract. Trust me, navigating the pitfalls of one of these deals is not for the faint of heart, but with a little perseverance, pig-headedness and a lot of prayer, we are finally under contract, for real. One word of advice to home owners considering listing their property without a Realtor; Don't. That may seem to be self-serving advice, but unless you have deep knowledge of all elements of a real estate transaction (comparable property values, inspections, financing, legal requirements/ramifications, etc.), you may be in for a bumpy ride.
