Yesterday, volunteers from the 7th Masonic District of Ohio went to the Chillicothe VA and hosted a picnic for the residents.

We've never had such a good time as we did serving those who served their country. Hamburgers and hot dogs were grilled, deserts and side were served and we enjoyed OSU Football.

A great time was had by all, and we're looking forward to next year.

All Call to Masons in the Area!

Brethren:

With great sadness it is my duty to report that Brother Steve Spratt of Lynchburg and Highland Lodges has gained admission to the Celestial Lodge Above. Services will be Friday at Noon at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman. We are asking the brethren who plan to attend to be there at 11:30. Below is his obituary:

Steve Spratt, 58 years of age, of Seaman, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Adams County Regional Medical Center, in Seaman, Ohio.

Steve was born on April 26, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Jones) Spratt. Steve retired after 22 years from his work as a police officer for Seaman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lynchburg Post #178, and the Fraternal Order of Police, as well as a former Wi******er Volunteer Fireman.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a sister. Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah (Walter) Spratt, whom he married on September 22, 1990; as well as his son, Cody Spratt, of Mowrystown; and his daughter, Brittany Spratt, of Seaman. He also leaves his siblings, John (Vera) Spratt, and Cathy (Bill) Ball, both of Wi******er.

Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Seaman. A Masonic service will be held at noon. What a big weekend we had! 2 meals and three meetings in 1 day.

Thanks to everyone involved and the Grand Lodge for braving the cold, but more importantly we need to thank our ladies. Nora, Darlene, Christa, Ruth Ann and Lori (correct me if I missed any).

THANK YOU!
