Landscape has begun on the StoneFall Cottage!

Just adding some exterior colors and textures to the entry of the StoneFall Cottage (they needed to be relatively deer resistant as the the deer and elk sometimes come into the neighborhood and eat the little goodies).

StoneFall Cottage is almost finished!!! Here are some of the latest images, with some interior shots. We will hopefully be finished in about 4-6 weeks. We chose "Rohl" fixtures for our faucets and sinks, and went with "Thermador" appliances. The stainless and copper dispensers are for dry foods, candies, or coffee beans. We will post images of the finished product.

The StoneFall Cottage is nearing completion. Here are some of the latest images showing the copper gutters that were just installed and progress on some of the tile work (we created the tile patterns and colors and had them made in England and shipped to us just for this house).
We love lots of color (there really are more colors than just grey!) and we hope those who love it as much as we do will really enjoy seeing it in this cozy yet elegant home.

We will post more interior images as we finish up the cottage.

It is for sale,... and it's been really fun to see and meet some of the people who stop by to see the house and take pictures of it (we've had lots of people come by just to take pictures of it!).

More images of the StoneFall Cottage! We just finished with the stucco and the exterior timbering, and we are almost done with the stone work. Here are also a couple of images of the inside fireplaces (there are 4 masonry fireplaces!). We are going to start laying the wood floor (10" solid plank, in Siberian Elm, we will post pictures).

Exterior lamp installed today on the StoneFall Cottage!!!! A huge "Thanks" to our dear friend and true Artisan, Rick Prazen, who made this extraordinary custom lamp for us. This is Rick standing by the masterpiece.

The "Bibury Cottage", which we built and sold last year in Midway, UT. We did modify it a bit to fit the lot. We can't remember ever posting a finished picture of it, so here it is!

MORE PHOTOS OF THE STONEFALL COTTAGE!

We are progressing along nicely. The copper roof for the turret will be next, and we will post some pictures when it is complete in the next week or two.
We are currently working on the exterior stone of the cottage. Most of the cottage will be stone. And as you can see, there are piles of thick chunky stone all around. The stone masons are amazing and extremely skilled. Every single stone piece is cut and hand-chiseled and then placed and tied with wire until set. It is very time consuming, but the end result is simply astounding! The stone itself is 5" thick and we have flared the base of all the stone walls which is 20" thick! We love the look and hence the name of the cottage. We also included an interior image of two of the masonry fireplaces (there are four total, two on the main and two in the basement).

Our "StoneFall Cottage" is under construction!!! We wanted to share some progress images. We will be posting more as it progresses.
