11 years ago I made a very similar decision. I stopped buy coffee, I took that same money and bought a vacation home. 1 of the best financial decision's we made. I was shocked when we added up our monthly coffee spend as a couple and realized that same amount was a house payment 🏡

What does a government shutdown mean for us? This shut down stops all VA loans from moving forward, this shut down stops all FHA loans from closing. MANY MANY properties in the PNW require flood insurance; so even if you did buy with a conventional loan, you won't be able to close without your flood insurance policy. There are literally thousands of homes in escrow waiting to close that no longer can. There are literally thousands of buyers who were just qualified with the new lower rates to buy that will not be able to. What are the solutions?
