Are interest rates currently the highest they have ever been? Not even close! They are higher than the worst beginning of the year and as to whether they’re gonna go next, who can say? But there are other factors that go into what your interest rate is going to be such as what kind of loan you are obtaining, how much if any you’re putting for a down payment, and your credit history. If you would like to talk to a great mortgage lender who will give you honest information and not be pushy at all, I have several terrific recommendations. And of course, if you’re looking for an awesome local realtor, let’s talk!

We have a new feature in the NWMLS called First Look that is similar to the coming soon feature that most other states already utilize meaning we can premarket our listings before officially becoming active. It will be very interesting to see who utilizes this how they utilize it and how that affects buyer traction for listings. This rule just popped up unexpectedly so there’s definitely going to be a learning curve here for agents that don’t stay on top of things. All the more reason to work with the right agent.
