And this is why I love my job. It allows me the opportunity to help such sweet people. To me, its more than just putting up a for sale sign. What kind words.
"Most people would agree that things in life go more smoothly when well planned. Well the packing up, making ready for sale, moving, and the process of selling and closing on my brother's house was not planned and would have been overwhelming. In my brother's case, he had a medical emergency and was hospitalized. Sadly, he was not able to return home. His home needed to be sold, but the thought of that process was overwhelming. She arranged to sell the items that would not be kept in the family. She got workmen in for needed repairs and fresh paint. She then staged the house to be welcoming to buyers. She even bought fresh flowers for both in and outside the house and completed the curb appeal with a freshly painted front door complete with a beautiful wreath and doormat. The house was turnkey ready when listed.
Kim sold the house in 5 days time and brought us 5 offers, all above asking price. This was all before the upswing in the real estate market that started sometime later. From the first meeting with Kim, the process was seamless and neither stressful or overwhelming. The entire time from first meeting to closing was less than 45 days."
