I used to think walking through life meant having him beside me.

Talking. Laughing. Sharing moments that felt so normal at the time.

I never imagined what it would feel like to walk forward without him.

But here I am.

And the truth is… he never really left.

Because every step I take now carries something he gave me.

The way I handle hard days.
The way I treat people.
The quiet strength I didn’t even know I had until I needed it.

Sometimes I still wish he were physically here—just to walk beside me one more time, just to remind me I’m not alone.

But even in his absence… I feel him.

In my choices.
In my courage.
In the person I’ve become.

And maybe that’s what love does.

It stays with you… even when the person doesn’t.
