This Central Avenue café is serving a lot more than coffee. ☕️

Beloved Community Café is launching in St. Petersburg with a weekday pay-what-you-can model, designed so people can eat and gather regardless of what they can afford.

The space will also host recovery drop-ins from 3 to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, community dinners with Metropolitan Ministries on Wednesdays, and Good Samaritan Church worship services on Sundays.

Ten local congregations are already supporting the project, and volunteers will be available to sit, talk or share coffee with guests who come in alone.

The goal? Turn one café into a genuine community gathering place on Central Avenue.
