For the past eight years, this simple HAPPINESS sign has caught my attention and inspired me every time I drove by. I’ve often wondered who put it there and what the story behind it was.
Today, I was unexpectedly gifted with the opportunity to meet the man behind the Happiness Experiment , Gary King. What an incredible privilege it was to hear his story and witness firsthand how one person’s simple act of kindness has brought smiles to so many people over the years.
As if meeting Gary wasn’t enough, he surprised me by gifting me a HAPPINESS sign for my own backyard. But then he did something even more special… he installed another one in my front yard for my entire Jungle Prada neighborhood to enjoy.
It’s amazing how one word can spark a smile, start a conversation, or brighten someone’s day. Imagine if we all spread a little more happiness wherever we go. Maybe that’s exactly how the world changes not through grand gestures, but through simple acts of kindness that ripple farther than we ever realize.
Thank you, Gary, for your generosity, your vision, and for reminding all of us that happiness is meant to be shared. I feel incredibly grateful to have met you and to now be a small part of the Happiness Experiment.
