Have you ever wondered why some homes sell so quickly? The secret is to make your home desirable! Cleaning is the most important item. Buyers want to know that you have loved and cared for the home you are in. Removing personal items allows them to visualize what it would be like for them to live there. Nothing says I love my home more than having an appealing entry way that welcomes visitors. This includes the front door and when they walk in the home. Small chores like mowing the lawn, adding pine straw or new potted plants can add much to curb appeal. Clutter can overwhelm buyers, so pack boxes with items that are not being used. You will need to pack them anyway, so get ahead of the game.
Preparing and staging your home does not have to be a hard task. These few items can pay off well...literally!
