This bulletin goes out to everyone living in the tundra known as Wisconsin. We are a hop, skip, and a jump from the arctic so here are some tips to get you through winter.

Reverse the Ceiling Fan - Today is the day you learn there is a reverse button on that ceiling fan. People, heat rises, make sure your fan is blowing that air back down to the floor.

Walk Like a Penguin - Keep your center of gravity over your front leg to avoid embarrassing falls in front of your friends. The jokes will hurt more than your broken collarbone.

Keep the Pipes Warm - Get your mind out of the gutter, though you should keep those free of debris to avoid ice dams. If you leave make sure your house is warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing. You can wrap pipes in newspaper and plastic to prevent moisture.
