What a fantastic and well-attended NALCOM General Membership Meeting! We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success.

A special thank you to the City of Huntsville Zoning Administration team for providing valuable insight into the vital role zoning plays in our growing community. Attendees learned more about zoning administration services. The presentation highlighted the many ways the Zoning Administration team supports developers, business owners, and property owners through zoning verification letters (available at no cost), pre-development meetings offered both online and in person, and direct assistance with property-specific questions.

A special thank you to our panel including Travis Cummings, Courtney Edwards, and Bob Baudendistel for sharing their expertise and helping our members better understand the resources available through the City of Huntsville.

Great insights at today’s NALCOM meeting as David Wilson with RCP Companies presented the Huntsville Multifamily Market Overview.

The overall message was optimistic for Huntsville’s future, even as the multifamily market continues working through current supply challenges. Strong absorption trends, improving occupancy rates, and declining concessions point toward stabilization ahead as we move through 2026.

What continues to make Huntsville stand out is the incredible long-term growth outlook driven by major demand generators including FBI expansion, U.S. Space Command, the Eli Lilly project, defense and cybersecurity growth, STEM-related industries, and continued investment in quality of life across our city.
