Hi everyone! I wanted to share something important about our local market that shows why north Alabama has been such a strong place to invest.
Home prices in the Huntsville area have risen about 70% over the last five years. That includes Madison, Morgan, and Limestone counties.
Let me put that in perspective. If you bought a home for $250,000 five years ago, it could be worth around $425,000 today. That's significant wealth building just from owning your home.
Now, prices have stabilized over the past year, which is actually good news for buyers. You're not competing in the same kind of bidding wars we saw a couple years ago, but you're still investing in an area with strong long-term growth.
The Huntsville area continues to attract new businesses, jobs, and families. That kind of economic growth supports home values over time.
