Whether you're celebrating at home, on the farm, at the camp, or at the lake, please don't forget about your four-legged family members.

Every Independence Day, countless dogs become frightened by fireworks and run from home—many ending up miles away before daylight.

Before the fireworks begin tonight:
🐾 Bring your pets inside.
🐾 Make sure they're wearing a collar with your current phone number.
🐾 Verify their microchip information is up to date.
🐾 If they wear a GPS collar, make sure it's fully charged.

As many of you know, outside of helping clients buy and sell some of the finest properties in Mississippi, I also own Raven 6 Rising, where we use thermal drone technology to help reunite families with lost pets.

Every year, we receive heartbreaking calls after fireworks send beloved dogs and cats running.

Today we celebrate 250 years of American independence and honor the brave men and women who have fought—and continue to fight—to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are truly blessed to live in the greatest country on Earth.

As you enjoy time with family, friends, cookouts, and fireworks, please don't forget about the members of your family who don't understand what all the loud noises mean.

🐾 Fireworks are one of the #1 causes of lost pets every year. Tonight, please take a few minutes to help keep them safe:

🇺🇸 Keep your pets indoors before the fireworks begin—even pets that have never run away can panic.

🇺🇸 Put your phone number on your pet's collar RIGHT NOW. Even if it's temporary, write your number on painter's tape and wrap it securely around the collar if you don't have an ID tag. It could be the difference between your pet coming home tonight or not.

🇺🇸 Make sure your pet is microchipped and that your contact information is current.

🇺🇸 Close gates, doors, and windows before guests arrive.

🇺🇸 Create a quiet, safe room inside your home with water, bedding, and a favorite toy.

🇺🇸 If you use a GPS collar such as a Fi collar, make sure it's fully charged before dark.

Every year we receive heartbreaking calls from families whose beloved dogs and cats disappeared after being frightened by fireworks. Prevention is always easier than a search.

🌾🐄 How Drone Technology Is Helping Farmers and Landowners Protect Their Livestock

One of the most frustrating things for any farmer or landowner is discovering that livestock has gone missing — especially when you’re dealing with large properties, wooded areas, creek bottoms, or thick cover.

Recently we used a thermal drone to help locate a missing cow that had wandered into heavy timber. From the ground, this area would have taken hours to search on foot.

But from the air, thermal imaging immediately revealed the animal’s heat signature hidden in the woods.
