This one was so fun! 🤩 My buyers had a very clear idea of what they wanted in the beginning of our search. We saw several great (and some not so great) properties. Many of the right properties kept getting snatched up before the buyers had time to get to them. And for others, we even joined into the fray of competing sight-unseen offer situations! 😱

Then, all of a sudden, the clouds parted and the buyers found something in their ideal location, under their max budget. AND through some masterful inspection negotiation, we got them a new roof in the deal as well!

🍦🎶 What a night! 🎶🍦

Our 2nd Annual Jess Lex Homes Ice Cream Social was a sweet success! We gathered at McKee Farms Park last Thursday for an evening of ice cream, live music, and time spent with friends, family, clients, and our community.

And if you were watching the weather that day… you know we were keeping an eye on those rain clouds! 😅 Thankfully, the sky cleared up right before the event, and we ended up with a beautiful evening to enjoy together. ☀️

🎤 Anna Marie Music provided the evening's music, and what a unique voice she has! If you weren't able to join us—or aren't familiar with her music yet—we definitely recommend checking her out!

🦋 And we may have discovered a new tradition for our summer events…

Karen and John brought 7 more monarch butterflies to release! Watching them take flight was a special addition to the evening. 🦋💙

Sometimes when people come to my seminars on downsizing, they are so excited that they come back again and bring friends or relatives. That's how I met these buyers. 🏡

We had to coordinate this search from a few states away and it was an adventure at times. The buyers knew what they wanted and found a house they could turn into the perfect place. And I think we became friends in the process, which is a double win!
